Debate Reflection

- How well organized do you think in your group was?
I think my group work well but not like exactly organized because we sometimes don't talk to each other much. But we still help each other if someone needs help.

- How structured was your argument?
I think my argument was good enough but still need more information because in my opinion my argument is to little.

- Did you have enough evidence and facts to support your assertion (topic).
I think I have enough evidence because in my speech you can tell there is evidence because the president of Indonesia was also the evidence and yeah. But I think I need more so the other team can't rebuttal my argument.

- Do you fell your team argued your case well or could have done better?
 I think my team argued well but still when the rebuttal my team should have more good reason because when the rebuttal we also forget something that actually we have to say it.

-What do you think you did well and what could you work on to improve next time?
I think I did well when I speak but I need to add many info in there and not to nervous when I read my speech

-Do you think you used your time wisely when researching and practicing your debate?
I think  I use it wisely because at home I also practice to read my speech and at the class i research.

-Do you think you incorporated Aristotle’s persuasive techniques Ethos/Pathos and Ethos, why or why not?
No because for me I think it's hard to use they're way so i just use the PEEL one and my way.

-Which group do you feel best argued their case for each Debate?
In opinion is the Jason group because they have good evidence and good rebuttal.

-Overall give yourself a final grade out of the three criteria you were assessed against, a maximum of 21. 
I think 17-18 because I still need more information and evidence for my debate.

Police Report

As we arrived at the house of Arthur and Queenie Volupides at about 2:00 AM on January 1st, 2012. We found Arthur Volupides lying on the floor with his head at the bottom of the stairs. His wife Queenie claims that he came down for another drink and she also claims that he fell down the stairs. The evidence that we collected goes to the obvious answers. The evidence that we collected support our answers.

Looking in the background you could see a pan with food on it cooking. Going back to what Queenie said: she invited her friends from the Country Club for another drink, not snack or something related to that. As a rule people don’t normally cook at 1:00 AM in the morning. Secondly by looking at what Queenie said and Arthurs body position it doesn’t seem like Queenie is telling the truth. One of the evidences is that by looking at his body position we could tell that he was walking up the stairs. If you look closely we could see that his right foot was on the 3rd step and his left foot on the 2nd step. This also indicates that he was walking up the stairs. As a rule when you’re lying on your back you would probably be walking up the stairs. Thirdly if you look closely at Arthur's hand he is still holding his glass. As a rule whenever people fall they let go of any items in their hands. As Queenie said Arthur was coming down not going up.

We could see that nothing on the wall beside the stairs or on the stairs was disturbed/misplaced.Which makes it unlikely that he fell from the stairs. Also Arthur is still holding a glass in his hands. Which Queenie told us that he was coming down for another drink. As a rule when people fall they drop whatever they’re holding and try to grab other things to prevent them from hurting themselves and falling. If he protected himself he would’ve injured other body parts that helped him from preventing to fall. Which is strange because the autopsy stated that he only had a wound on the back of his head.

Using the evidences that we found on the scene including the use of general rules about what is wrong about these evidences, we can conclude that Queenie wasn’t telling the truth. We have supporting evidences from the scene, like Arthur’s body position and and also the objects around him. It doesn’t match what would happen normally. To finish this conclusion, we would like to say that Queenie killed Arthur, in a smart way. She used the frying pan that she used for cooking to hit Arthur in the back, that is why he has only has a bruise on the back of his head. Then he used the pan for cooking as a cover so it doesn’t look as if she hit Arthur. Also that she put a glass on his hand to look as if he is going for a refill. That is what we think happened based on the evidences that we found on the crime scene.

Crazy Taxi Ride + New Year

      

It was the 31st of December 2014, I were going to Gold coast with my family. My family and I were from Melbourne.

That morning I were going to the airport with my family, we rode a bus that can help us go to the airport. We arrive at the airport and we just do the check in stuff. Not long after that the airplane has arrive and were ready to go to Gold Coast.

After 1 hour we arrive safely to the Gold coast. We were welcome by the sunny day and the sea in Gold coast. We take a maxi cab to go to the hotel my family doesn’t get separated in the cab that’s why we use the maxi cab to go to our hotel. After that we rode maxi cab.

After about 15 to 20 min the maxi cab stopped because the red light, but then there is a crazy person that suddenly open our front door of the cab but lucky there is no one in the front door. That crazy people suddenly ask the driver that if he could join the cab but the can driver and my sister and my brother in law deny it. But suddenly the crazy person slam the and say the F word and do the middle finger to the cab driver and also mad at him luckily it was the green light so the cab driver push the gas and just go, so then we arrive safely at the hotel. The crazy person my family also thinks that may be he will go to the bus, but we don’t know. But luckily we safely arrive at the hotel.

Then the night in the beach with full of people we celebrate New Year at the beach it was very beautiful, and I was also very glad that I could celebrate New Year with a beautiful view.

HOLES (PART 2)

Than after that Zero and stanley goes to the gods thumb and eat onions and drink from the mud in there. and then the night pass

Stanley wakes first . Then Zero is still very sick but he try to tells Stanley that it was he was the one who stole Clyde Livingston's shoes from the homeless shelter. He apologizes to Stanley and Stanley sings Zero the song that Madame Zeroni taught his great-great- grandfather.
Stanley digs up another onion and the narration shifts back to one hundred and ten years ago when Sam was selling onions.  A woman thanks Sam for an onion remedy that saved her daughter's life. The narration shifts again to Stanley and Zero who spend two days eating onions and drinking dirty water from pools of mud. Stanley heads back down the mountain to find the shovel that is left behind. He is stunned at the distance that he covered while carrying Zero.
Zero gets better and tells Stanley that he was homeless before he came to Camp Green Lake. He often went to the homeless shelter that Clyde Livingston's shoes were in. Zero took the shoes because he thought it was better to take a pair of old shoes than to steal a pair of new shoes. He couldn't read the sign explaining whose shoes they were. Zero was wearing the shoes when people at the shelter discovered they were stolen. Everyone was so upset about the stolen shoes that Zero ran outside and throw it to stanley head. The next day Zero was arrested when he stole a new pair of shoes.
But after they talked about that they head back to the camp to search a suitcase in one of the hole. Stanley and Zero finally dig up a suitcase and just as they are preparing to leave a light shines in their faces and they find the Warden standing in front of them. The Warden shines a flashlight on Zero, who is holding the suitcase until she sees that there is a deadly yellow-spotted lizard on the suitcase. Stanley realizes he is standing in a lizard's nest. The Warden, along with Mr. Pendanski and Mr. Sir, wait for the lizards to leave. The Warden talks about how she grew up digging holes with her parents, looking for the suitcase.
As the sun comes out, the lizards crawl away from Stanley. Zero asks him if his first name is his last name spelled backwards. Mr. Pendanski arrives with a woman and a man. The woman says she is Stanley's lawyer and tells the Warden that she will file charges against not only the Warden but also against the entire state of Texas if anything bad happens to Stanley. The Warden says that Stanley stole the suitcase that Zero is holding. The lizards scurry away and the Warden tries to take the suitcase from Zero but he says it belongs to Stanley. Zero shows everyone the other side of the suitcase where the name Stanley Yelnats is printed.
Than after that zero and stanley is free because stanley lawyer came and they is now at home and than zero find his mom. and then it started raining at the camp green lake than after that everyone is happy and then Zero and stanley came  home.

 Than the Camp Green Lake was closed and the Warden, Ms. Walker, was forced to sell her family's land. The camp will soon be a Girl Scout camp. The suitcase contained some jewels and many valuable deeds and stocks. Stanley and Hector each received almost a million dollars from these finds. Stanley buys his family a house and Hector hires a private investigator to find his mother. 
Stanley and Hector watch a commercial in which Clyde Livingston advertises sploosh, Stanley's father's cure for foot odor. Clyde Livingston is at Stanley's house in person, watching the commercial as well. Hector sits with a woman who looks just like him. 

HOLES

From term one till now we have to read a book that is called Holes. The book was made by louis Sachar. It was great book to read. There is the book but there is also the movie but since our teacher told us to read not to watch the movie so we read the book first.
The main character is Stanley, he was a kind hearted kid but because his great grandfather he was cursed to be unlucky and also his family is unlucky. Its because that his great grandfather doesn't keep a promise that is from the fortune teller which is Madame Zeroni. he was arrested by stealing the sneakers or he have to go somewhere but he always go to the wrong place. So Stanley decided to the camp green lake rather going to the jail.
So the Camp green lake was totally dried up, but about 110 years ago it was a nice and beautiful town but because there is a conflict that's why the town is now not beautiful anymore. In the town there is actually the beautiful teacher that is katherine he like the onion seller which is Sam but there is a man that like Katherine which is Trout walker he is the richest man in the town and he know's that Sam kisses Katherine so he burn the Katherine school and then killed Sam that 's why and then Katherine killed a sherif for a revenge and then if he kisses someone she would killed them or robed them. Stanley yelnat which is Stanley great granfather ever been robe by him. so now katherine name is kissing kate barlow she died because of she got bite by the yellow lizard.
Time passing that's why the camp green lake was dried out. Camp green lake was for bad boy. In the camp green lake stanley meet Xray,Zero,Squid,Magnet,Armpit. The name was like that because there is a teacher in there who give that name to them, and Stanley name was caveman. Stanley stayed there for about 46 days. When they are there they have to dig hole.
Zero is Stanley friend and he ran away from the camp green lake. He ran away because he was teased by his teacher and then he was mad but then the other boy has to dig holes.
Than stanley ran away also to find Zero than Zero was find in a boat that is called "Marry lou"

I choose this quote because now I believe that if there is a miracle there is hard work too and now I know what miracle means actually.

It affect my life because he is a Korean star and he says the quote like that so now I have to be more hard worker and it affect me that miracle is real.

ABOUT THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

The circulatory system is the body transport system. It is made of a group of organs that transport blood throughout body. The heart pumps the blood and the arteries and the veins transport it. Oxygen-rich blood leaves the left side of the heart and then enters the biggest artery, called the aorta. The aorta branches go to the smaller arteries, which then branch into smaller vessels that travel to whole of our body. When blood enter the smaller blood which is vessels, which are called capillaries and are found in body tissue it gives nutrients and oxygen to the cells and takes in carbon dioxide, water and, waste. The blood, which no longer contains oxygen and nutrients, then goes back to the heart through veins
